The Type 9 Wheel Magazine is a highly mobile storage solution designed for efficient transport and secure storage of explosives and detonators. Constructed with Kodiak’s lightweight K-7 and K-6 wall technology, it is the lightest option available on the market while maintaining full NRCan Standards compliance. This magazine is ideal for remote job sites, mobile operations, and industries requiring quick relocation of explosive storage.

Type 4 & Type 9 Heli-Magazine Explosive Storage
Kodiak Global ensures full compliance with NRCan Standards, providing secure, efficient, and high-capacity explosive storage. If your operations require airlifted magazine transport, the Type 4 or Type 9 Heli Mag offers the safest and most effective solution available.
- Purpose: Designed for helicopter transport to remote locations and to reduce weight to get more storage capacity

RAM (Rapid Access Magazine) Explosive Storage
RAM Boxes (Rapid Access Magazines) provide secure, controlled explosive storage for law enforcement, tactical teams, and specialized government agencies. Designed for quick access and maximum security, RAM storage solutions meet NRCan’s G06-02 Directive on Storage and are available in fixed-location and vehicle-mounted configurations.
Kodiak Global manufactures custom RAM boxes, ensuring compliance with layered security principles, bullet-resistant designs, and industry-specific requirements. Whether installed inside police stations, mounted in response vehicles, or secured in tactical facilities, RAM boxes provide safe and efficient explosive storage for critical applications.
Fixed Location RAM
- Purpose: For secure storage inside or near police stations, Must be sited in accordance with the principles of layered security
- Applications: Canine units, tactical teams and specialized law enforcement application
- Features: Customizable sizes, door configurations, safety enhancement and much more!
- Compliance: Made as per Annex A, or as per NRCan Standards
- 5 kg NEQ or less
Vehicle RAM
- Purpose: Mobile units designed for law enforcement vehicles, must be sited in accordance with the principles of layered security
- Applications: Secure storage any organization that meets the definition of a “law enforcement agency”
- Features: Customizable sizes, door configurations, safety enhancement and much more!
- Compliance: Made as per Annex A, or as per NRCan Standards
- Explosive Regulation: 2013, Part 9: Trailers – only 5th wheel • Special conditions • Required to be bullet resistant
- 5 kg NEQ if parked inside; 10 kg if parked outside
Day Box (Previously Type 6)
Day Boxes, previously classified as Type 6 magazines, are designed for safe transportation of detonators alongside explosives. These units comply with Explosives Regulations 2013-G09-01, providing secure and regulated storage during transit.
Kodiak Global manufactures custom Day Boxes in steel or aluminum, with options for separation barriers and impact-resistant designs. Whether transporting under 2,000 kg with a standard Day Box or over 2,000 kg with an IME22 box, we ensure your explosive transport solutions meet regulatory standards and operational safety requirements.
- Purpose: Transporting detonators with other explosives
- Applications: Transportation for construction, mining, and demolition operations
- Features: Available in steel or aluminum, with optional separation barriers
